The Holocaust was Caustly

The following paragraph is not for the light of heart, or the detailed. Please read with caution or tissues.

The Holocaust truly started in Germany January 30, 1933. The heart-shattering task of disposing of Germany's 525,000 Jews began almost immediately thereafter. The Nazi's were to play an important role in what is to come. At the head of this project, was Adolf Hitler.

In 1935, Hitler introduced the Nuremberg, which stripped German Jews of their citizenship and deprived them of all civil rights. On November 9, 1938, with the help of Nazi soldiers, on what is refered to as The Night of Broken Glass, approximately 100 Jewish people were killed and 30,000 were taken to concentration camps. 7,000 Jewish shops were vandalized also. Many other events like this took place until about 1942.

With the help of local authorities the Nazi's set up many concentration camps in the German boarders. In these camps, Jews would be treated poorly until the were killed. The earliest camp was Dachau. There they were tortured and held prisoner, but not killed. Later, most camps were used to exterminate Jews or use them as slaves. Many prisoners were worked to death or (death to the antagonists!) killed out of whim, meaning the soldiers felt that that particular prisoner had lived long enough, so the decided to kill he/she. Most Jews were disposed of by being led into gas chambers by the truck loads. They were robbed of their possessions and led into the gas chambers naked. Most of the time they were told that the large rooms were communal showers. Also stabbed, shot, brutally maimed, or gored in some way or another. (You get the picture) Hitler, had a thought that blond haired and blue eyed people were the best, an Arian Race. Not Arial, which is the font I am using.

The Holocaust ended near 1945. Hitler died April 30, 1945. The sad era of mass killing is finally over, due to Hitler's death. Yippy!
